Move Subs is the internal staff app of Move Studios LLC (2903 Lincoln Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405). It is used only by Move Studios instructors and front-desk employees to request and cover class substitutions and desk shifts. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is protected.
Your name, work email address and mobile number as they are on file in the studio's scheduling system (MarianaTek); the classes and shifts you teach or work; your availability, skills and notification preferences; and the sub and shift requests, responses and comments you create in the app. If you sign in by text message, we store the mobile number you used. If you reply to one of our texts, we store that reply so we can record your answer.
To sign you in, to find eligible substitutes and desk coverage, to send you the notifications you have chosen (in-app, push, email or text message), to keep the studio's schedule accurate, and to give managers coverage reports. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Texts are sent only to Move Studios staff who opt in by signing in with their mobile number and keeping text notifications on. Messages contain sign-in codes, sub and desk-cover invitations, confirmations, reminders and changes to your own requests. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help. The same app is also available for iPhone and Android (published as InSync Studio). If you turn on push notifications there, the app registers a device token with OneSignal, the service that delivers the notifications through Apple and Google. The token identifies your device only; it is deleted when you turn notifications off or sign out. The mobile app uses no advertising identifiers, no analytics trackers and no location data.
We share information only with the service providers that run the app on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), OneSignal (mobile push notifications) and MarianaTek (studio scheduling). Each is bound to use the data only to provide its service. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.
Information is kept while you work at Move Studios and for the period needed for scheduling and payroll records, then deleted. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to studio managers and the staff member the data belongs to.
You can change your notification preferences at any time under Profile in the app, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing info@move-studios.com.
